New Explorer Design
Your new Explorer features a second-row bench and offers seating for seven or second-row captain's chairs and seating for six. You and your passengers can enjoy features like tri-zone automatic climate control and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Explorer comes with an 8.0-inch or an optional 10.1-inch touchscreen to give you access to the convenience of Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone connectivity. The Ford three-row SUV offers a cavernous cargo space, with over 18 cubic feet behind the last row of seating. You can gain access to nearly 48 cubic feet by folding down the third row, and that number grows to 87.8 cubic feet when the second row is flat as well.
New Explorer Performance
Two engines are available to move the Explorer around Henderson. A turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder is up first, giving the SUV 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Select trim levels feature the turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, producing 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Both engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, but intelligent all-wheel drive is available for the Explorer as well.
